JOB TITLE: Debt Advisor
WHAT DOES A DEBT ADVISOR DO? Forget everything you know about a typical “sales” position! Our Debt Advisors are personal finance professionals who interact with and educate our clients to find a debt relief program that suits their needs. Debt Advisors seek to establish meaningful and trusting relationships with incoming clientele and secure their business by enrolling clients into one of our programs.

OUR HOME: Alleviate has a 30,000 Sq foot headquarters based out of Irvine, CA. Our headquarters is located in the heart of Orange County’s booming business and finance district. Our state-of-the-art office has 2 designer living rooms, 2 cafes, a meditation room, fully equipped workstations, and a free fitness center. STARTING PAY:
- $17 per hour + commissions (40 hours per week)
- Ability to earn a monthly commission up to $10,000
- Potential for promotion to Salaried + Commissions for those who excel performance expectations!
The above-range represents Alleviate’s current good-faith pay scale for this role based on recent commissions earned. Alleviate reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Handle the full cycle of sales for inbound and outbound calls, scheduling follow-up calls, and successfully close deals.
- Use scripts to provide information about programs, services, prices etc. and present their benefits
- Utilize different verbal sales methods of communicating with potential clients
- Emphasizes service features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on knowledge of programs and services
- Drive value of product to client; upsell products
- Accurately track all communications in CRM system
- Conducts clients follow-up calls to ensure that they understand the service and are moving forward with contract/agreement
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to explain our programs and services, placing an emphasis on educating potential clients of their options
- Manage your leads/calendar/time efficiently to ensure that all monthly sales goals are met
- The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:
- Debt, mortgage, finance, or sales experience preferred
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and excellent people skills
- Be an effective closer
- Phone sales and call center experience
- Positive and high energy attitude is a must
- Time management – multi-tasker, able to prioritize and follow up with clients in a timely manner
- Problem solving; ability to constructively handle unexpected problems
- Strong Analytical and mathematical skills
- Must be comfortable with computers, internal software, and phone systems
