COMPENSATION:

  • $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

This role is responsible for bridging advanced machine learning with enterprise-grade data ecosystems. The Machine Learning Engineer develops and refines predictive models to drive decision-making in settlement success, payment behavior, and risk assessment.
  • Design, develop, and train predictive models using techniques such as regression, classification, and anomaly detection.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, ensuring models meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the data team to extract, clean, and preprocess datasets from Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Integrate data seamlessly into Azure-based ML workflows via Azure Databricks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Experiment with cutting-edge algorithms to continuously improve prediction accuracy.
  • Work closely with DevOps to integrate and deploy models as REST API endpoints for use across our systems.
  • Collaborate on the transition of prototypes into scalable production solutions within the Azure environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders across product, sales, and customer service to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate model findings and improvements clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Follow all policies and procedures for the department and Company, including personnel policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing machine learning models, with a strong portfolio of predictive analytics projects.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, as well as hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Solid understanding of REST API integration and an interest in exploring GraphQL for data access.
  • Previous work in financial services, legal tech, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines in an Azure context.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Job Type: Full-time Exempt

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
