COMPENSATION:

  • $110,000 - $130,000 Annual Salary; Depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

The Total Rewards Manager oversees the development, implementation, and administration of Alleviate’s compensation, commission, bonus, and benefits programs. This role ensures that all total rewards strategies support organizational growth, drive performance, maintain compliance, and promote internal equity. 

This position requires strong analytical ability, financial acumen, and collaboration with Executive Leadership, Finance, Sales, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources to ensure compensation and benefits programs are competitive, fiscally responsible, and aligned with business objectives. 

Essential Duties:  

  • Develop and implement total rewards strategies aligned with the overall business strategy and revenue goals. 
  • Oversee and maintain company-wide compensation structures, salary bands, and job architecture to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. 
  • Manage annual compensation planning cycles including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and bonus administration. 
  • Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership to design, evaluate, and document commission and incentive compensation plans. 
  • Monitor commission payouts and bonus structures to ensure accuracy, sustainability, and alignment with financial targets. 
  • Oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave programs. 
  • Lead annual open enrollment planning and execution, ensuring accurate communication and employee understanding. 
  • Work in tandem with the PEO and external vendors to administer compensation and benefits services through the co-employment relationship. 
  • Evaluate vendor performance and renegotiate contracts when appropriate to identify cost-saving opportunities. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations. 
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and recurring compliance reviews related to payroll, commissions, and benefits. 
  • Collaborate with Finance to conduct workforce cost analysis, compensation forecasting, and budget planning. 
  • Maintain accurate compensation documentation and ensure confidentiality of all compensation-related data. 
  • Educate Leadership on compensation structures, pay practices, incentive plans, and benefits programs. 
  • Continuously identify areas of improvement in compensation and benefits processes, policies, and reporting. 
  • Ensure recurring reporting and audits are conducted in a timely manner, and necessary changes are implemented through policy updates. 
  • Manage and participate in special projects as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards management. 
  • Experience working within commission-driven or performance-based compensation environments preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and compensation regulations. 
  • Experience working with PEO or third-party benefits administrators required. 

 Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. 
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive compensation data. 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, confidential environment. 
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Leadership, Finance, Sales, and HR. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate integrity.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday 

Location: Irvine, CA; Hybrid
